Uniguide Bearings can be used at the opposite end to Fixed Pin Bearings to allow expansion from the fixed end, but provide restraint in the perpendicular direction. Uniguide Bearings will not transfer any vertical loads which would generally be taken by Laminated Elastomeric Bearings positioned each side of the Uniguide Bearing.
